Kabawat: Providing the best services to orphans, the elderly, and people with disabilities is a priority

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat reviewed the conditions of residents at the Mar Mansour Charitable Society for the Elderly in the city of Saidnaya in the Damascus countryside.

During her tour of the Society’s departments, Minister Kabawat stressed that the ministry’s priorities for the coming period are to provide the best services to orphans, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

She also highlighted the importance of the support provided by the Mar Mansour Society , Naji al-Masoud, to the home’s residents from various Syrian regions.

For his part, the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, explained that the Society is a charitable development organization that provides numerous educational, health, and elderly care services.

For her part, director of the Society, Amal Falouh, said that the services provided to the elderly include health and psychological care, provided by a distinguished team and cadres, in addition to recreational activities and training in handicrafts.
