Jeddah, SANA- Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Israel’s continued aggression and the incursion of Israeli occupying forces into Syrian territory, affirming its full solidarity with Syria and its people.
In a statement posted on its website, the organization strongly condemned the continued and escalating Israeli aggression and its incursions into various areas within Syrian territory, which resulted in the destruction of infrastructure and the deaths and injuries of dozens of civilians, stating that such aggression was a flagrant violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy and of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In its statement, the organization reaffirmed its full solidarity with Syria and its people and the need to respect its sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity.
The statement called on the international community, in particular the UN Security Council, to put an end to these repeated Israeli aggressions that threaten regional peace and security.
