Eid al Fitr 2023 in Syria to start on Friday

Damascus,SANA- The Fiqh Scientific Council at the Ministry of Awqaf anounced that the crescent Moon that signals the end of the holy month of Ramadan was observed in the country on Thursday evening.

The first day of Eid Al Fitr 2023, therefore, is on Friday, April 21, marking the first day of Islamic calendar month of Shawwal, according to the council.
