Jordan exempts Syrian transit trucks from all fees and charges

Amman, SANA- The Jordanian Council of Ministers has decided to exempt Syrian trucks entering Jordan from all fees and charges imposed on them, in implementation of the decision to unify the fees imposed on Jordanian and Syrian trucks and in application of the principle of “reciprocity”, between the two countries.

The Jordanian News Agency (Petra) reported that this decision, which was taken during the Jordanian Cabinet session held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, comes to keep pace with developments in the movement of transportation and trade exchange between the two countries, and as part of the support that Jordan provides to the brotherly Syrian side to facilitate the movement of trade.
