Minister of Public Works and Housing discusses boosting joint cooperation with Turkish minister of Transport and Infrastructure

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, discussed with Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, and the accompanying delegation, mechanisms for enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries in the ministry’s work.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed topics related to road works, transportation, road infrastructure development, and the possibility of serving the international roads shared with Turkey in accordance with international regulations.

Minister Abdul Razzaq highlighted the ongoing rehabilitation work of the Rastan Bridge and the possibility of building a new bridge, given its vital importance in linking northern and southern Syria.

He affirmed the need to exchange technical expertise between the two ministries and to conduct visits by joint technical teams.

For his part, minister Oraloğlu indicated the possibility of providing all services related to joint work between the two ministries.

He also addressed the mechanism for joint cooperation, organization, and monitoring of land and sea roads, and their improvement.
