Ministers of Economy and Energy discuss ways to provide energy sources for industrial facilities

Damascus, SANA- Dr. Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, Minister of Economy and Industry, met Tuesday with Engineer Mohammad al-Bashir, Minister of Energy, to discuss ways to ensure the availability of energy sources necessary for the operation of industrial facilities and to support the production process in the country.

The meeting addressed mechanisms to reduce the costs of electricity, fuel, and natural gas required for factories in general, especially strategic ones, to restart operations as they are considered a cornerstone in strengthening the national economy.

The ministers expressed their commitment to working together to find sustainable solutions that enhance energy efficiency and ensure the continued operation of factories, emphasizing the necessity of coordination between the ministries of Economy and Industry and Energy to develop strategic plans that contribute to achieving developmental goals and improving the economic situation.
