Syria, Turkey discuss joint cooperation in education sector

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Turko discussed joint cooperation between the two countries in the education sector with a delegation from the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, headed by Turkish Ambassador in Damascus, Dr. Burhan Koroglu, the Director of the Turkish Maarif Foundation.

The meeting addressed facilitating the return of Syrian students, particularly in the areas of ratifying certificate and facilitating school enrollment procedures.

For its part, the Turkish delegation expressed willingness to contribute to the reconstruction of destroyed schools and provide the necessary support to enhance the educational process.
