Damascus, SANA-Health ministry announced on Wednesday that 62 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, and that 20 patients have recovered while 3 ones have passed away.

In a statement to SANA, the Ministry indicated that the toll of coronavirus infections registered in the country till now reached to 3351, of which 780 cases have recovered while 143 ones have passed away.

The first Coronavirus case in Syria was registered on March 22nd, while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
