Kuwait, SANA-Syria’s Olympic football team tied on Tuesday 1-1 with its Jordanian counterpart within Asia u-23 qualifications held in Kuwait for the 5^th group.

The Jordanian team scored first at the 75^th minute of the game while the Syrian team scored through Abdul-Rahman Barakat at the 84^th minute.

The Syrian team raised its points to 7 and occupied the second place in the group behind Jordan with 7 points too, but with difference in the number of golas.

With this result, Syria qualified to Asia cup finals of Thailand 2020 as the best second place in the tournament.
