Damascus, SANA- Dr. Hussein Al-Khatib, Deputy Acting Minister of Health, met Tuesday with a delegation from the British David Nott Foundation, headed by Chief Executive, Elly Nott, to discuss ways to strengthen mutual cooperation.
The participants in the meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, discussed the necessary requirements to enhance continuous medical education for healthcare staff in Syria.
The participants emphasized the need to train and qualify resident doctors, exchange expertise and techniques related to all types of surgery and anesthesia, and improve the technical services supporting hospitals.
David Nott Foundation specializes in providing specialized medical training, conducting complex surgeries in challenging environments, and delivering vital healthcare services amidst war and conflict.
