Egypt strongly condemns Israel’s attacks on Syria

Cairo, SANA- Egypt strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, considering it a ‘systematic escalation’ and a violation of international law, and a disregard for the United Nations Charter.”

In a statement published on its website, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli attacks “constitute a flagrant violation of Syrian sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and increase tension and conflict.”

In its statement, the ministry also called on the active international parties and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities in obligating “Israel” to stop these blatant violations, stressing at the same time the importance of Israeli withdrawal from Syrian territory.
