A fire extinguished in Homs western countryside

Homs, SANA- Homs Firefighting team extinguished on Saturday a fire erupted in dry herbs and fruitful trees near a fuel station in Rabah village in Homs western countryside.

Director of Civil Defense in Homs, Brigadier Ghiyath Aqel told SANA in a statement that the Fire fighting and agricultural teams extinguished a fire and prevented it from reaching the fuel station.

Brigadier Aqel pointed out that the area of the burnt land reached 8 dunums, including olives, apples, figs and vines trees.
