Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 4 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Syria to raise the total number of infections to 33.

The Ministry said in a statement that four cases were registered today to raise the number of infections to 33, five of them have recovered and 2 died.

The first case of coronavirus infection in Syria was detected on March 22^nd.
