Al-Wahda beats Bahraini al-Hidd 1-0 in AFC championship

Manama, SANA – Syrian al-Wahdah football team started its participation in the (AFC ) Asian Cup championship with a 1-0 win over its Bahraini counterpart al-Hidd.

Syrian football player Ousama Omari scored the game’s only goal at the 40th minute.

Al-Wahdah football team plays in Group B which also includes the Lebanese al-Safaa and the Iraqi al-Quwa al-Jawiya teams.

In the same context, Syrian al-Jaish team beat Jordanian al-Ahli 1-0 in the first group of the same championship.
