Damascus, SANA- Marking the 70th anniversary of the Army Day, the popular and unionist syndicates and organizations organized Monday a mass rally in Bab Touma square in Damascus.

The participants stressed that the activity aims at showing amity and faithful for the Syrian people and army, hailing its sacrifices in defending the homeland in the face of terrorism.

They expressed belief in Syria’s victory over terrorism thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army and the Syrian people’s resilience and their support to their leadership in the battle against terrorism.
