Damascus, SANA-The Damascus Security Directorate has apprehended the criminal doctor, Bassam Youssef Salman Ali, an officer who worked at Tishreen Military Hospital during the era of the ousted regime.
The criminal “Bassam” is considered one of those implicated in the medical crimes committed against detainees.
He transformed Tishreen Hospital into a human slaughterhouse and was an accomplice in the torture and killing of detainees referred to the hospital. Furthermore, he was involved in the trafficking of human organs and the extortion of detainees’ families.
The criminal Bassam is also linked to the liquidation of a number of detainees through the injection of lethal substances inside the hospital, in blatant violation of all medical and humanitarian laws.
The Ministry of Interior stated on its Telegram page that the authorities concerned are continuing the investigation with the criminal to uncover more crimes he committed during his years of service under the criminal regime, in preparation for his presentation to the judiciary to receive his just punishment.
