Damascus, SANA- Minister of Transport Dr. Ya’rub Badr has met with a delegation led by Karam Mustafa, the National President Representative of the Junior Chamber International (JCI)- Syria, to discuss cooperation mechanisms and ways to enhance them.
During a meeting held Tuesday at the ministry headquarters in Damascus, Minister Badr and the JCI delegation reviewed pioneering projects specialized in transportation and mobility, as well as job opportunities available to JCI within this sector.
Dr. Badr expressed the ministry’s readiness to collaborate with all entities and associations in ways that serve the citizens’ interests, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of volunteerism at various levels.
The delegation head provided an overview of JCI and its programs related to the transport sector, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with ministries to create a positive impact on Syrian society.
JCI is a global network of active young citizens aged 18 to 40, present in over 100 countries with more than 200,000 active members who believe in self-development and improving the world around them.
The organization aims to provide development opportunities that enable young people to drive positive change, focusing on four areas: individual, community, business, and global impact.
