Homs governor discusses investment opportunities with a delegation from Syrian community in Canada

Homs-, SANA- Governor of Homs, Dr. Abdulrahman al-A’ama, discussed investment opportunities in Homs Governorate, particularly in Hasya Industrial City, with a delegation from the Syrian community in Canada.

During the meeting, held at the governorate building on Tuesday, the governor heard from the delegation about their vision for education, the environment, the healthcare sector, and compensation for those affected by the war.

He also underscored the importance of linking education to labor market and developing Syria’s technological infrastructure.

The governor highlighted that Homs Governorate is working on a comprehensive development vision that includes reconstruction and urban planning, in addition to administrative reform efforts, services, and infrastructure.

He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between Syrians at home and abroad, and building a national development model that reflects the ability to overcome challenges and achieve recovery.

The delegation includes a group of academics in the fields of engineering, economics, information technology, and artificial intelligence.
