Sheikhdom Akl of the Unitarian Muslim Community: Israeli aggression and Foreign intervention destabilize situation in Syria

Sweida, SANA- The Sheikhdom Akl of the Unitarian Muslim Community condemned the repeated Israeli attacks and all forms of foreign interference in Syria’s affairs aimed at destabilizing its security and stability, affirming commitment to work with all sides to restore security and safety to all areas that witnessed the regrettable  events in Damascus Countryside and Sweida.

“We categorically condemn the Israeli attacks, and we denounce all forms of foreign intervention and aggression, as they negatively impact the Syrian situation in general,” Sheikh of Unitarian Muslim Community Youssef Jarbou told SANA in a statement.

Meanwhile, his Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Muslim Community, Hammoud Al-Hinawi, affirmed that aggression against the homeland is condemned and that no citizen can accept or be satisfied with it.

“Foreign interference has negative repercussions on the security of the nation and its citizens,” his eminence Sheikh Al-Hinawi said, warning against assaults coming from inside as well, which pose threat to the safety and security of the people, emphasizing the importance of the State’s intervention to impose security.

In that context, the two Akl sheikhs referred to the efforts being exerted to facilitate and accelerate the process of restoring security and stability, following the internal incidents and clashes witnessed in several areas, such as Jaramana and Ashrafieh Sahnaya in Damascus countryside and several areas in the countryside of Sweida over the past few days.
