Oman, SANA -With the participation of Syria, the 7th Arab Water Week conference kicked off in Jordan
The conference Held under the theme “Towards Efficiency and Sustainability in Utilities through the Water, Energy, Environment, and Food Nexus,” and it discussed challenges in the water sector and the importance of resource integration to achieve water security.
In his speech at the conference, the head of the Syrian delegation to the conference, Assistant Minister of Energy for Water Affairs, Engineer Osama Abu Zeid, emphasized the importance of resource integration in light of climate change, expressing Syria’s aspiration to enhance technical cooperation with participating countries.
The conference is organized by the Arab Water Utilities Association (ACWUA), in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the Arab Ministerial Water Council, and the League of Arab, at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center.
