Homs, SANA- With the participation of 25 trainees from art activities teachers, the Directorate of Education in Homs held a training course on how to use psychological support in art activities, at the Preparation and Training Center.
Psychological counselor Fatima Hamoush explained to SANA the importance of creative activities in enhancing psychological and social support for students, especially during crises.
She noted that trainees were introduced to the concept of psychological support and some methods through which artistic activities, such as music and drawing, can be used to identify problems facing students and pupils, and to attempt to identify their causes and solve them.
For her part, trainer Kawkab Assaf pointed out that this course is distinguished from previous psychological support courses because it specializes in creative activities, which helps activate drawing and music subjects and benefiting from them to help children solve their problems.
