Damascus, SANA-Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat discussed, during a phone call, with Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, the repercussions of the sanctions imposed on the Syrian people, the negative impact of the sanctions and their delaying recovery from the effects of the war.
During the call, they discussed ways to develop rural development centers, the cessation of support for a number of organizations, and the importance of directing aid to the most vulnerable groups and people with special needs.
Minister Kabawat highlighted the ministry’s efforts to strengthen the essential role of women in society.
