Damascus-SANA-The Grand Mufti of the Syrian Arab Republic, Sheikh Osama Al-Rifai, stressed that every Syrian blood is forbidden, and any drop of blood from any member of this country is precious and should not be neglected, calling on Syrians of all sects to unite and renounce sedition and stay away from calls for revenge.
“Syrian brothers, beware of sedition, the sedition knows the first of them and does not know the last, and these seditions that God blessed and exalted for stoking and igniting reap everyone, and everyone as a result loser, and you to listen to the voices of revenge, your blood is forbidden, and every Syrian blood is forbidden, and a single drop of blood from any member of this country is dear to our hearts, and should not be neglected in any way.” Sheikh al-Rifai said in a speech today about the recent events in Jaramana and Ashrafiyat Sahnaya.
The Grand Mufti of the Republic added: God has blessed us with this homeland, we eat from its bounties and keep its security, do not waste this grace by igniting the fire of strife, and we should unite today in front of this strife ignited by the enemies of God and His Messenger, and the enemies of the nation and humanity, and the enemies of this homeland, and we should not listen to the voices of those who do not want good for our country at all, and do not want good for any of us at all, but they want to inflict strife in our country and sabotage and destroy it, and we should not allow them to enter among us even Do not shed our blood, if strife erupts in our country, all our races, religions and sects are losers, and we have no winner at all.
Sheikh al-Rifai pointed out that extinguishing the strife is a way to stop the bloodshed of the children of this nation and to preserve their souls, and it is necessary for everyone to return to their minds and hearts and consciences, and to distance themselves from calls for revenge and retaliation, and to leave room for justice so that it can take its course, thereby calming the spirits, calling on God to preserve this country and to grant it security, tranquility, and stability.
