Damascus, SANA-Minister of Economy and Industry, Basel Abdul Hannan, met Tuesday with representatives of the World Bank to discuss economic development priorities in Syria and establish a comprehensive action plan aimed at achieving economic recovery.
During the meeting, held at the ministry, the two sides addressed the challenges facing the Syrian economy and discussed several ideas and initiatives for collaboration between the ministry and the World Bank. These include implementing new development projects and supporting vital sectors such as energy and industry.
Talks during the meeting emphasized the importance of international partnerships in the recovery process by establishing a sustainable framework that ensures improved living conditions for citizens and creates new job opportunities across various fields.
