Damascus, SANA-Youssef Annan, Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education, discussed with a delegation from the French International Humanitarian Organization “Triangle” ways to enhance cooperation and develop future plans aimed at advancing the educational process and improving the quality of education in Syria.
During a meeting held at the ministry Wednesday, the two sides emphasized the necessity of supporting and rehabilitating schools to facilitate the return of students to their seats, in addition to cooperating in organizing training courses for teachers to improve their educational capabilities.
Annan affirmed the ministry’s commitment to continuing the educational process and supporting it according to the actual priorities and needs of the sector, underlining the importance of cooperation with the organization in providing remedial lessons for students.
For its part, the organization’s delegation expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the Ministry of Education to facilitate the work of organizations supporting the education sector in Syria, stressing the importance of allocating the necessary resources to rehabilitate schools and support the return of students to education.
