Damascus, SANA- Chairman of Planning and International Cooperation Authority, Musab Badawi, discussed on Wednesday with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Italian Embassy in Syria, Stefano Ravanian, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the economic and development fields.
Priorities of work in the next phase were studied during the meeting in the fields of agriculture, electricity, health and education, and the renewal of joint agreements, in line with the next phase.
Musab Badawi, stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and availing from the expertise of Italian agencies in the reconstruction phase.
For his part, Ravanian pointed out that Italy is working to lift sanctions on Syria in all areas, which will contribute to rebuilding the Syrian economy and supporting small and medium enterprises.
