A 5.5-magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Turkey

Ankara, SANA -An earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitudes on the Richter scale struck on Monday eastern Turkey.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) stated that the tremor occurred 123 km northwest of Şanlıurfa province, at a depth of 10 km and there have been no initial reports of damage or casualties.
