Syrian football team qualifies for semi-finals of WAFF U-23 Championship

Riyadh, SANA-The Syrian national football team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Championship held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Syrian team came second in the second group, after its Saudi Arabia counterpart .

It had lost a match with Bahrain 1-2 in the opening of its participation in the championship.
