Omani TV: Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said appointed Sultan of Oman after late Qaboos

Muscat, SANA-Omani official TV announced on Saturday that Haitham bin Tariqh bin Taimur Al Said was appointed the new Sultan of Oman as successor of late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

“Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said was appointed the Sultan of Oman,” the Omani TV said on Twitter.

The Omani Royal Divan announced on Friday that Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said passed away of 79 years.
