Iranian Foreign Ministry reaffirms necessity of respecting Syria’s sovereignty

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry reiterated its rejection of the Turkish aggression on the Syrian territories, calling for respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman Abbas Mousavi, during his weekly press conference on Monday, noted that Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity should be respected by all the regional states.

He added that Iran rejects any Turkish presence on the Syrian territories, calling for implementing Adana Agreement which guarantees the safety of borders between Syria and Turkey.
