Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday received congratulatory cables on occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday.
The cables were sent by First Sharia Judge of Damascus Mahmoud al-Maarawi, Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf) Mohammad Abdulsattar al-Sayyed, Justice Minister Hisham al-Shaar, and Grand Mufti of the Republic Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, offering congratulations and best wishes on this occasion and hoping that when the holiday returns next year, Syria will have achieved victory and recovered security and stability across all its territory.
