Tehran, SANA – Chairman of Iranian Shura Council’s Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, stressed Iran’s firm support to Syria in the face of American schemes.
In a statement on Sunday, Boroujerdi said that the enemies failed to reach their objectives in dividing Syria and Iraq, adding that Washington’s attempts to destabilize the region through supporting terrorism are doomed to failure.
He added that Iran succeeded in defeating terrorism in the country and will continue its approach till solving the crises in the region.
