President Putin: de-escalation zone in South Syria was a result of Russian-US cooperation

Moscow, SANA –Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that establishing a de-escalation zone in South Syria came within the framework of the Russian-US cooperation in counterterrorism field.

Sputnik news agency quoted Putin as saying that war against terrorism, cooperation in Syria and elimination of Weapons of Mass Destruction lay at the core of the Russian-US cooperation.
