Hama Governor discusses with ICRC establishing desalination plant

Hama, SANA –Hama Governor, Dr. Ghassan Khalaf, discussed with a delegation from the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) the final stages of establishing a water desalination plant in Tal Abdul-Aziz village and other water projects.

Talks between the two sides also focused on lack of water in Masiaf and al-Ghab areas due to the decrease of rainfall rates.

The governor stressed the readiness of the province to bolster cooperation with the ICRC and other international organizations, expressing hope that the support of the ICRC will increase regarding water projects and other humanitarian projects.
