Provinces, SANA – On the 69th anniversary of Syrian Army foundation, the leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Tartous Branch, honored a number of soldiers in a visit to their checkpoints in many areas in the province.
Member of the Regional leadership of al-Baath Party, Dr. Abdul-Nasser Shafee, said that the sacrifices made by the Syrian soldiers have brought stability and security to the homeland.
For his part, Secretary-general of al-Baath in Tartous Ghassan Asaad said that the anniversary is for all the Syrian people as the army is the army of all the people.
In turn, the honored soldiers stressed that they will annihilate terrorism from the entire country and restore security and stability, expressing faith in their ability to achieve this goal.
In Aleppo, Aleppo Governorate organized a festivity to honor army soldiers on the occasion.
The speeches made during the event stressed that the Syrian Army, since its foundation, has been a model in bravery and loyalty to homeland, adding that the strength of the Syrian people and army along with the wisdom of its leadership will bring down terrorists and uproot terrorism.
