Authorities dismantle an explosive device planted by terrorists in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- The authorities on Friday evening dismantled an explosive device planted by unidentified terrorists inside a trash container at al-Maysat Square in Damascus City.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that while working on Friday evening, a dustman suspected that there is a strange item in one of the trash containers as the engineering units came to the site and they found an explosive device and dismantled it.

The source added that the explosive device weighs 1 kg, indicating that it was successfully dismantled and no damage was reported.
