Damascus, SANA – Ministry of Education announced on Saturday the results of Baccalaureate certificate of the scientific and literary branches for the 2015 academic year.
Education Minister Hazwan al-Waz said at a press conference that 92,181 students took the exams of the scientific branch, pointing out that 63,476 succeeded with a percentage of 68.86%.
He added that 77,876 students took the exams of literary branch, 41,218 of them succeeded with a percentage of 52.93%.
The Minister said the percentage of success in the Sharia secondary school reached 35.78% while it hit 68.05% in the women’s’ secondary schools.
