Damascus, SANA- Al-Wahda football team was qualified for the finals of the Republic football Cup after beating al-Jaish 2-1 in the semi-final match held Wednesday at Tishreen stadium in Damascus.
The first half ended with nil, while in the second half of the match, al-Wahda team scored its two goals.
The match has witnessed a turnout estimated at 8000 fans.
Al-Wahda team is due to play a match with al-Shurta team on August 15th, aspiring to be crowned in the championship for the fifth time as it won the championships in the years 1993, 2003, 2012, and 2013.
