Damascus, SANA- Raghda Zidan, Advisor to the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, met Tuesday with the Ministers of Displaced Persons and Refugees Affairs and of Labor and Social Affairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with their accompanying delegation, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in social and humanitarian fields.
During the meeting, the Advisor emphasized the importance of Bosnia’s practical experience in transitional justice, highlighting the ministry’s commitment to applying best international practices to secure victims’ rights and strengthen social peace.
For its part, the Bosnian delegation affirmed Bosnia’s full support for Syria’s recovery efforts, presenting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s experience in transitional justice measures, including a detailed account of their expertise in searching for missing persons and the possible utilization of their technical systems in this field.
The Bosnian delegation also expressed readiness to exchange expertise in labor market management and professional integration programs.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the importance of providing psychological and social support for affected children, strengthening mutual relations, and supporting the most vulnerable groups.
