Ankara,SANA- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed on Monday that Syria is moving towards recovery, despite the difficulties, obstacles and acts of sabotage it has suffered, revealing that two hundred thousand Syrians have returned from Turkey to their homes since the fall of the ousted regime.
Anadolu Agency quoted Erdogan as saying, in a speech he delivered during an event on immigration management in Istanbul that despite the difficulties and huge destruction that affected Syria, we see it gradually beginning to recover, and as this progress continues, the number of refugees returning to their country will increase.
Erdogan added that the number of returnees from Turkey to Syria since December 9, last year has reached 200,000, noting that the improvement of conditions in Syria is accelerating the pace of Syrians returning from Turkey to their homeland.
Erdogan held Western powers responsible for the increase in immigration, saying that Western policies mostly force people to immigrate, but when it comes to sharing the burden, they all disappear from the scene.
