Damascus, SANA-The Chairman of the Planning and International Cooperation Commission, Musab Badawi, and the Director of the Syrian Development Organization, Farouk Bathish, signed a Memorandum of Understanding today.
The Memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of development and relief, capacity building, and joint coordination to establish a methodology for community development throughout Syria.
In a statement to a SANA correspondent, Badawi explained that the memorandum aims to coordinate and cooperate on development and relief projects in line with achieving the goals and priorities of national development, economic, social, and environmental development in a sustainable manner throughout the country, in accordance with the national vision for all sectors.
For his part, Bathish said that the memorandum aims to build a development needs bank according to advanced community development methodologies , in partnership with the committees that will be activated by the Authority and the organization.
