Damascus, SANA- Transport Minister, Yarub Badr discussed with a Jordanian delegation include a number of specialists in the fields of transport and public utilities opportunities to develop joint work and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
During a meeting between the two sides at the Ministry building in Damascus, Dr. Badr stressed the importance of strengthening Syrian-Jordanian relations in various fields, and the necessity of exchanging expertise, in a way that keeps pace with the developments and changes taking place in the field of transportation locally, regionally and internationally, and serves the advancement of the transportation sector in both countries.
In turn, the members of the delegation considered that their visit went beyond the protocol nature, to be a practical step towards real and fruitful support that reflects positively on the service and economic reality in Syria.
The delegation stated that the aim of the visit was to directly examine Syria’s needs in multiple sectors, especially transportation, public facilities, investments, regulations and traffic safety, stressing their readiness to provide the necessary expertise and support to contribute to the rehabilitation of these vital sectors.
