Damascus, SANA- Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Mr. Raed al-Saleh, has held discussions with Jessica Svärdström, the Chargé d’affaires of the Kingdom of Sweden’s Embassy in Syria, to explore and enhance avenues for mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, Minister al-Saleh reviewed the ministry’s action plan for managing emergencies and disasters, along with mechanisms to bolster preparedness and effective response.
The discussion, as reported by the ministry’s Telegram channel, also emphasized the importance of supporting local organizations, achieving balance in humanitarian efforts to ensure sustainable services reach all those in need without discrimination, and the government’s commitment to the principle of partnership and integration with civil society.
