Interior Minister discusses future plans to enhance police work, maintain security in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA-Minister of Interior, Eng. Ali Kidda, discussed Saturday with Lattakia Governor, Mohammad Othman, the security situation in the governorate and the efforts of the police force to maintain order and ensure security.

During a meeting held at the governorate building, future plans to enhance police work in different areas were reviewed, emphasizing the role of the police force in maintaining security.

The discussions focused on the importance of intensifying police efforts to provide a safe environment for citizens.

In a special meeting with police officers, the progress of police work in Lattakia was evaluated, with an emphasis on the need to improve internal coordination among all police units and increase their readiness to maintain security stability.

For his part, the Governor of Lattakia commended the efforts of the police force, highlighting the importance of continuous cooperation to enhance the stability of the governorate and ensure the safety of its citizens.
