Berlin, SANA-“During my visit to Syria, I spoke with President Ahmad al-Sharaa, and members of the government, and we hope that there will be a political transformation, and that the expected government will represent all minorities and women well.” Fajon said in a statement to al Jazeera on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

The Slovenian minister called for greater involvement of the international community in providing humanitarian aid to the Syrian people and the necessity to lift sanctions on Syria after the fall of the deposed regime.
