Syrian-Sri Lankan discussions to boost trade cooperation between the two countries

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Maher al-Hassan, discussed on Thursday with the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Damascus, Kapila Jayawara, ways to enhance and upgrade trade cooperation between the two countries, and avail from the Sri Lankan experience in adopting the free market.

Minister al-Hassan noted during the meeting the depth of ties between the two countries, which would develop trade and economic relations, serving the interests of both countries.

For his part, Ambassador Jayaweera underlined his country’s readiness to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, in addition to providing everything necessary to benefit from Sri Lanka’s experience in adopting the free market.
