The writer added: “Bashar al-Assad left a legacy burdened with all the tragedies of Syria. The challenges are great and painful, and it is difficult to eliminate them in a short period of time, but the signs, indicators, and policies pursued by the new administration, starting with opening the way for distinguished relations with the brotherly Arab countries, then dissolving all blocs, parties, and military organizations and joining them to the new national army, and then focusing on building Syria, away from slogans, exaggerations, and silencing mouths, and that there is no exception to any sect, political, tribal or regional affiliation in their participation in the management of the state’s affairs, according to a new constitution, a new army, and institutions whose management depends on competence and seriousness in work, give hope for the better.”

The writer stressed that “the sun is shining on Syria again, to illuminate what was opaque and dark for many years under a rule marked by bloodshed in its dealings with the people, and it has no concern or interest other than to continue its rule, enjoying a comfortable life, while the people suffer from poverty, hunger, deprivation and tyranny.”
