Hezbollah elects Sheikh Naim Qassem as new Secretary-General

Beirut, SANA- Lebanese Hezbollah elected Sheikh Naim Qassem as its new Secretary-General.

In a statement on Tuesday, Hezbollah said in adherence to Hezbollah’s principles and goals, and in accordance with the approved mechanism for electing the Secretary-General, Qassem was elected.

The statement pledged to fulfill Hezbollah’s principles and goals, and to keep the flame of resistance bright and its banner raised until victory is achieved.
