Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday Law No.26 for 2024, which stipulates founding the General Establishment for Blood and Medical Industries to replace the General Establishment for Blood and Medical Industries established by Legislative Decree No. 141 for 1961 and its amendments.
The law aims to regulate blood transfusions as therapeutic pharmaceutical materials of strategic importance, in a way that avoids all risks in the context of their use and ensures their availability and safe distribution.
