UN expresses its concern about Occupation violations against Palestinian prisoners

Geneva-SANA-UN Committee to Investigate the Practices of the Israeli Occupation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories expressed on Wednesday, its concern over the violations committed against prisoners in its prisons.

“Palestinian prisoners are being tortured and intimidation, in addition to being prevented from communicating with their families or the International Committee of the Red Cross or from enjoying the legal guarantees provided to them by international law”, WAFA news agency quoted the committee as saying in a statement.

Since its beginning its aggression on the strip, the Israeli occupation arrested more than 9,400 Palestinians in the West Bank and thousands other from Gaza.
